Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey (d.2019) played the game of ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, from Minsk Belarus. Her career has seen her won twelve WTA singles titles, including an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. The doubles play she plays is superb and she has also won Majors in her first major tournaments, the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), each of them in partnership with Elisemertens. Alongside her, the Belgian tennis player, she won WTA 1000s in Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. The feat only four pairs of women's doubles to pull off. There were only four couples that achieved this feat in women's doubles. She climbed to the top of the rankings for doubles the next year after taking the title at Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player to succeed in her field. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, coached her from through the season of 2018 until end and part of her 2020 campaign. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, followed by Maria Sharapova.
